Our clients loved where they lived, but their dark, dysfunctional 80’s home needed help. This beautiful home renovation included a complete reinvention of their kitchen, family room and front-entry, achieving their vision of an open-concept main floor, perfect for entertaining friends and family. A significant excavation in the back of their home created space for their dream, custom-designed kitchen, and a massive 16-foot sliding door across the family room was installed to seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living. Existing skylights were retained and incorporated into the new design, a large window was added to the new end wall, and a gorgeous, black stained, rift-cut oak fireplace surround and storage immediately provided a stunning focal piece in the family room. The central stairway, upstairs master bedroom and both bathrooms were reconfigured and completely transformed as well. Rounding out this amazing project were custom millwork closets, vanities, and built-ins throughout.
