A 1953 home originally built by our client’s grandfather required a whole home renovation to bring it into today’s world. With a focus on retaining the general style and aesthetic of the original design, this home needed substantial exterior and interior structural work to open up the space and increase liveability. The results were amazing, and we achieved everything the homeowners wanted and more. Their beautiful new kitchen features an accordion-style pass-through window and French doors leading to a dream back deck and yard. A large new pantry/laundry room adjacent to the kitchen was also added. The entire upper floor was reconfigured as three bedrooms became two, allowing for a gorgeous master ensuite and massive walk-in closet. Millwork features prominently in the fully custom kitchen, and a beautiful oak banquette, bar area and fireplace mantle/surround add to the warmth and wonderful new feel of this timeless home.
