Overlooking West Vancouver’s stunning water vistas, our client’s well-loved 1960’s home needed a complete renovation to meet their needs for an open, functional design with lots of additional room for entertaining friends and visiting family. We loved the thoughtfulness and enthusiasm that our clients and architect brought to the project as we worked hard together to achieve their vision. Meticulous planning, design, and construction (including the installation of a scissor-truss new roof) were rewarded with a stunning entryway, gorgeous new kitchen, a bright, larger living and dining room, a new master suite with an ample walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom, and an entertainer’s dream bar area and family room in the above-ground lower level.
An enormous amount of millwork throughout the home was custom designed to meet the client’s goals of lots of storage and a simple but elegant look. Mirrored full height cabinets in the open concept dining and living room superbly showcase the open concept feel of the space and give these special homeowners the ability to catch the jaw-dropping views from all angles.
